Our brushed and oiled oak flooring is the definitive choice for those who value the raw, organic soul of natural timber. During production, the surface of each plank is meticulously wire-brushed to lift away the softer springwood, leaving behind a subtle, tactile grain that mirrors the authentic feel of reclaimed wood. This textured finish not only highlights the unique structural patterns of the oak but is also remarkably practical for 2026 living; the multi-dimensional surface naturally disguises everyday micro-scratches and dusty footprints, making it a superior choice for high-traffic family areas.
To preserve this natural character, the wood is treated with deep-penetrating oils that bond with the timber fibres rather than sitting on the surface. This traditional finish allows the oak to "breathe" and develop a rich, lived-in patina that only improves with age, perfectly aligning with the "quiet luxury" and "warm minimalism" trends. Unlike lacquered floors, an oiled finish offers the significant benefit of easy spot-repair—minor scuffs can be locally buffed and re-oiled without the need to sand the entire room. Fully compatible with underfloor heating, this is a premium, lifetime flooring solution that celebrates the unmistakable essence of real oak.

Help Measuring
Working out the quantity of flooring you need is really dependant on the layout of your room.
Rectangular rooms can be calculated easily by multiplying the length by width. If your room is L-shaped, or has alcoves or bay windows, you need to divide your room into separate smaller areas, adding these together to come to your final quantity. Don’t forget to add at least 10% to your final quantity for any wastage.
