Our Engineered Oak UV Lacquered Parquet flooring in a classic herringbone or chevron pattern brings a timeless, architectural elegance to any interior. By utilizing the same high-specification 4mm solid oak wear layer, this parquet format allows for a complex interplay of light and grain that shifts as you move through the room. The precision-engineered construction ensures that each smaller block remains perfectly stable, mitigating the natural expansion and contraction associated with traditional solid wood. This stability is crucial for intricate geometric layouts, ensuring that the sharp, clean lines of the pattern remain tight and seamless for a lifetime of use.
The application of a specialized UV lacquer finish further enhances the parquet’s functionality, providing a tough, non-porous barrier that protects the delicate joints from moisture and grit. Because parquet patterns naturally create more surface intersections, the ultra-durable cured lacquer is essential for preventing wear in high-traffic areas like hallways and kitchens. This finish provides a sophisticated low-sheen glow that highlights the multi-directional grain of the wood without the need for constant re-oiling. The result is a high-end, designer floor that offers the historic charm of a manor house with the "easy-clean" resilience demanded by modern urban living.

Help Measuring
Working out the quantity of flooring you need is really dependant on the layout of your room.
Rectangular rooms can be calculated easily by multiplying the length by width. If your room is L-shaped, or has alcoves or bay windows, you need to divide your room into separate smaller areas, adding these together to come to your final quantity. Don’t forget to add at least 10% to your final quantity for any wastage.
